ON – Rice Village, Houston, TX
CMG, Inc. recently partnered with ON for their newest store in Houston’s Rice Village, marking our first project together. We joined the ON team midway through design development, along with much of their new design group, to help guide the project toward a successful opening.
As Construction Managers, CMG worked closely with the team to balance design ambition with budget realities. The previously approved budget was tight, and our role was to help our client make smart, informed decisions that preserved ON’s design intent while keeping the project financially on track.
We also developed a project communication process that gave ON real-time visibility into schedule, costs, and construction progress; a framework that has since helped streamline collaboration across their future builds.
Although this was not a new prototype, the fresh team dynamic made it feel like one. Through frequent communication, creative problem-solving, and shared commitment, the result is a beautiful retail space that reflects ON’s modern aesthetic and the collective effort behind it.
